Children Relief Ministry

About US

CRM is a non-profit, non-government, non- political/social service organization established to cater to the needs of war affected children occasioned by the war.  A burden of love and sympathy was laid upon our hearts by God for the suffering children during and after the conflict.  We, adults; suffered hunger and pain.  Can you imagine what the children are going through?  Based upon this, they trusted God to direct and provide for them so that they can help the Liberian children.  A dream that is coming through by the hand of God as the years go bye.

Our Mission

Children Relief Ministry (CRM) works for the interest of orphans and abandoned children from 1 day - 20 yrs. old, meeting their physical and emotional needs while restoring their self respect, respect for Law and Order, and value of the DIGINITY OF LABOR as we strive to uphold the “Rights of the Child.”

CRM History

Prior to the civil crisis in Liberia in December 1994, there have been cases of orphaned and abandoned children roaming the street, public places, and abandoned buildings engaging in unwholesome activities.  Up to the time of the crisis, a couple of humanitarian organizations operated orphanages to help meet the needs of the unfortunate situation which has worsen since the crisis leaving many disadvantage children today.

Like most war situations, the children are most victimized, due firstly to the hunger and pains they experience during the war and the after effects.  Those who at the end of the crisis are left without parents demand that society care of them to prevent further social problems.  The Children Relief Ministry has been serving this target population since their establishment in 1994.
